A Befriending service for families with pre-school children in South Edinburgh and all of Midlothian.  In Midlothian we also offer Therapeutic Family Work for families with children under the age of 18.

Home Link Family Support provides a variety of services to families with young children who are under stress or experiencing difficulties.  The core element of the service is a high quality befriending service which provides support for the whole family and is based in the family’s home.  Volunteer Befrienders are carefully recruited and trained and are then matched with a family to provide focused support to meet the needs of the family.

In addition to the befriending service, we also offer a variety of group work opportunities, therapeutic family work, art and play therapy.

Home Link Family Support has achieved the Investing in Volunteers Award by consistently providing a high quality service. We are also working towards QIB - Quality In Befriending.
