Support for families with young children, in Edinburgh and Midlothian.

We work closely with families and services to give the best start in life for young children.

Home Link Family Support is an award-winning charitable organisation that has been delivering effective family support and therapeutic services since 1986.

We use a range of early intervention approaches, including individual and group services, to enhance child and parental well-being.

We aim to empower parents and maximise children’s’ readiness for learning by minimising the impact of social and economic disadvantages that families may be experiencing.

Improve children’s life chances through providing enhanced family learning experiences.

Enhance whole family wellbeing by supporting families to flourish and thrive by offering support that is timely, flexible, and responsive to their emerging needs.

Deliver services across our communities which are inclusive and free from stigma and judgement.

Services for families with young children

In Edinburgh and Midlothian

Early Years Home Support

This service is available to families in Edinburgh and Midlothian, with a child under 5 years old or if expecting a baby.

Therapeutic Support

These services are available to children in Midlothian, aged up to 12 years, and their families.

Back on Track

These services are for children and young people aged 5-24 years and their families, who live in the Gracemount and Liberton High School catchment areas of Edinburgh.

Group Work

We run a range of groups for parents, carers and families on a rotational basis. Some are available online as well as in person.

North East Systemic Therapy

This service is for children and young people aged 5-12 years and their families, who live in the Castlebrae and Portobello clusters.
